Week 2:: A-line sleeveless top variation - 50s babydoll: fitting and pattern modification

This post will not be very long, which is good, because it means that the pattern drafted is good and a little or no modification is needed.

Remember, if you followed all the steps you will end up with a pattern WITHOUT seam allowances. So you have to add them when cutting the fabric.

Again, I cut from a thrifted sheet, and I can say this pattern fits Greta (my friend the dress form) very well.

There is really not much to say - the yoke part is the same as the top in Week 1, so that has not changed and it fits well. And the added fullness is just right. There is no gaping under arms so this is good to go.

If you want to know how this was drafted see the previous post.
